Nuna Logistics Partnership (Nuna) is a Federally Registered Indigenous company established in 1993, with ownership consisting of Kitikmeot Corporation 51% and North American Construction Group 49%.
Nuna is engaged in the business of providing and performing services and work relating to heavy civil earthwork developments, mining (contract mining & exploration support), reclamation and remediation, winter road and all-weather road construction, gravel pit development and quarrying operations, construction site services, life-of-mine common services, logistical support and infrastructure construction services, and heavy equipment simulator training. We have built a solid reputation for cost control and on-time project completion; and our multi-million-dollar equipment base is constantly growing.
The hiring and training of Indigenous and local personnel has been a focus of Nuna’s resulting in the company having, among owners and contractors, the highest percentage of local residents working on projects in which we are involved. Nuna has several agreements with Indigenous groups and local contractors and it is our intent to continue building relationships with local communities to the benefit of each project we are involved with.
